The 12 Hour and Enduro at Vail Lake

First of all, these weekends where I do both the 12 Hour and Enduro are some of the most difficult 2 days that I go through each year. I probably would not have made it through the weekend without the constant comedic relief that my team provides me. Another vital part of my ability to finish the weekend was my very appreciated support from my sponsors. Thank you to Ellsworth, Kenda, and ESI Grips because my bike worked great. Thanks to GUP for making sure I had a backup plan if things went wrong. Thanks to FTech for the awesome  new kits (seriously these things look so cool and ore very comfy). And finally, thanks to Rudy Project for the super comfortable helmet and glasses (those orange transition lenses were so helpful when the sun went down). The race itself went very well in my opinion. My team was pulling some very consistent and fast laps the whole time, except of course after the sun went down because who would have known that it would be harder to see in the dark? It was a lo

Without a doubt, this weekend was one of the most challenging, mentally and physically, that I have had in a long time. Although this weekend left me physically destroyed, it was rewarding in quite a few ways. Friday night was by far the most exciting of the three days because we were rewarded with helmets and glasses from Rudy Project ( probably the most comfortable helmet ever), bags from Scicon ( somehow they are twice as small as my previous bag but carry everything while staying extremely organized), super lightweight tires from Kenda, and we got a sneak peak at this year’s jerseys! Saturday morning we woke up to the national anthem playing as Coach Jason walked around giggling. Soon after we woke we were out the door to do a chest and core workout. I could tell t

About Me

My name is Micah Chitraroff and I race mountain bikes for the SoCal DEVO Jr developmental team. This is not everything there is to know about me however, I am a believer in Christ, love extreme sports like surfing and snowboarding, enjoy learning new things, and love traveling. I have been to Thailand, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Canada but I plan on continuously traveling for the remainder of my life. I am currently a junior at Murrieta Mesa High School and I am studying engineering. When I am older I plan on becoming some sort of engineer, saving up money, then eventually buying a small island ( they are decently priced) and starting a bed and breakfast on my island.
